Science News is a digital product designed for science lovers to stay up to date in the field.
AAAS turned to Apollo Matrix to design and build Science News, a replacement for their existing reader app. Science News is an application that best serves their mission of “advancing science, engineering and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people”.
The American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS), is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science around the world. AAAS serves as an educator, leader, spokesperson, and professional organization. In addition to organizing membership activities, AAAS publishes the journal Science, scientific newsletters, books and reports. AAAS also spearheads the programs that raise the bar of understanding for science worldwide.
The Science News by AAAS app offers a range of articles from AAAS publications – ScienceNow (coverage of new and groundbreaking studies), ScienceInsider (news and analysis from the world of science policy), and ScienceLive (live, weekly chats on the hottest topics in science) – as well as a collection of podcasts, galleries, and videos on many subjects. The app also features a Career News page and searchable Job board.
