comScore

comScore came to us on behalf of a major commercial broadcasting television network to design and develop their 2014 Olympic Fan Study app to better understand viewers during the Olympic Games. The fully native app for iOS and Android incorporates comScore’s SDK for survey management to perform methodical and in-depth research on the behavior of 300-400 participants watching the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The app, designed and developed by Apollo, acts as a diary allowing study participants to record daily Olympic watching.

The native app running on both phones and tablets has been designed for a simplistic, easy-to-use interface with helpful reminders. On the front-end, the Olympic Fan Study app will allow participants to quickly log in and record their activity. On the back-end, this application will do much more as it will analyze significant data reporting how the Olympics are watched. With more knowledge of how people engage in watching the Olympics, coverage will be able to better serve viewers needs in future games.
